Bella turned to the white male, getting herself in battle position. She look at him with serious blue eyes, she meant business. She would do everything in her power to get him to escape, and she had a plan in mind already. She knew she didn’t have as much fighting experience as Kyoushiro did, he was much more experienced, but she wouldn’t turn back after coming so far, after keeping herself, Takeshi, and Kyoushiro alive so far.

”Get ready, Kyoushiro, this will be the last time you look down on me!”

Without further ado the female lunged at Kyoushiro, pretending she would hit him head on when at the last second she swerved around him to attack him from the side. She went over everything she could recall about fighting in her head. The attacks her brothers and friends would practice together, the conversations she’s had with her brother about fighting and becoming stronger, she needed to remember all of it, even if it wasn’t much! 

Bella flinched as Akatsubaki didn’t listen to her and ordered her males to go after Takeshi. She spun around, witnessing the other dogs leaping off of the ledge. If one wasn’t careful you could plummet straight into the chasm. The akita mix watched in horror, he was going to get torn to shreds if she didn’t do something! She tried to think of a distraction when an obnoxious voice met her ears. Kyoushiro. She wasn’t fond of this male in the slightest, he was loud and obnoxious, a bully, but to say she didn’t also fear for his life now would be a lie. She watched the dogs as they surrounded her packmates, glancing over at Akatsubaki. Best case scenario? Takeshi and Kyoushiro are forced to join the pack and she can help them escape later... The worst case? She... She didn’t want to think about it.

She wouldn’t let the worst case scenario happen.

Bella spoke, coldly, confidently, and hopefully loud enough for Takeshi and Kyoushiro to hear her from down the path. “You’re right. We should take them on as extra soldiers then, Akatsubaki. Ohu males are cowardly, at the first sign of a stronger leader they’ll join the other team. Isn’t that right, Takeshi, Kyoushiro?” She stared down at them. She begged for them to listen to her, to not fight a fight they wouldn’t win. She knew Kyoushiro was stubborn though, she feared he wouldn’t listen.

Bella felt herself tense again as she heard one of the males ask What they should do about the females, the thought of her mother, Reika, or Cross being anywhere near these dogs made her feel ill. Bella glared at the Male,
answering before Akatsubaki had a chance to. “None of you Male swines better lay a paw on our females. I’ll handle talking to them, don’t you worry,” she promised. She hoped it wouldn’t even have to come to that, but if something went wrong, if for some reason she had to continue to put on an act then she would think of something to get the others away from here.

As the mountain trails became rockier little stones and dust crumbled off of the mountain paths, falling below. Suddenly, a familiar voice reached her ears, there down below stood Takeshi, greeting her kindly. No... oh no Bella’s stomach sank in dread.

She looked down at Takeshi, her mouth agap as if she wanted to speak but she couldn’t find the words. If she didn’t think fast he would surely be killed! But Bella felt frozen in fear, her mind blank. She looked at the Doberman with pleading blue eyes, hoping that would be enough for him to get the message and run.

Betray her Grandfather...? Though she had lied to protect him, the thought of actually betraying him made the akita mix's stomach turn. She could never betray her family. She only wanted to protect them, and protect them she would! She would show them all that she could protect them all just as much as they protected her.

Bella's ear's flattened, unable to stop herself from doing so. Her blood felt like it was running cold as the tosa's face twisted in a rage, and it seemed she wasn't alone, her packmates seemed to be just as afraid. It seemed she had bought the lie, but it didn't do much good, and she cursed to herself silently... She had to keep lying, she didn't want to die a useless death when everyone else always died with honor...

A shiver ran through Bella as the tosa wondered what to do with her now, and Bella needed to act quick.

"You have some very interesting objectives, Ma'am. And surely a bright dog such as yourself would know exactly what to do with me?" Bella questioned. She felt sick. She felt cold. Was it the autumn breeze making her entire body chilled to the bone or was it the fact that she was possibly staring death in the eyes?

Bella had gone off for a walk, exploring the mountain range as a pass time and as a way to get things off of her mind. The chill of autumn was no issue for her, she welcomed the cooler air, it felt fresher to breath, it cleared her thoughts easier.

The akita mix walked along one of the mountain trails, the crunch of leaves underpaw which made the female chuckle, purposely stepping on a few more leaves to make them crunch, another giggle escaping her. She loved to play in the leaves when she was a pup, how fun it was for her and her brothers... all three of them...

Not letting herself get too deep into depressive thoughts Bella easily detected the voice of another dog, but who? Was it someone she was familiar with? It sounded like a female, but Bella carefully listened to try and hear it again. Her eyes then widened, someone was here to kill her grandfather?

Fear shot through Bella, who was this? What was happening? Bella snuck towards the voice. trying to remain unseen as she looked down on the group of dogs from above. A tosa, female, and what appeared to be hundreds upon hundreds of dogs following with her. No... No this wasn't happening! Why was it just one enemy after another?

Bella felt herself tremble, what should she do? Should she run? Alert the others? But... She was tired of running, she didn't want to hide behind others anymore. And so, Bella did something that would probably be seen as stupid by anyone else. Running down the mountain she stepped out in front of the other female, her head held high, her eyes strict, she didn't want another tragedy to come over her family.

"Can I help you?" Bella spoke calmly, for now she would pretend that she didn't hear the tosa say she was going to kill Gin. Though Bella seemed calm and confident, on the inside she was terrified.

Bella narrowed her eyes slightly, giving the male somewhat of a suspicious look. “I’ll decide whether your trust worthy or not once I get to know you,” the silver akita warned. She had little trust for outsiders these days, as there was no telling who was planning what, and she knew her father could be too trusting for his own good. She have a curt nod at the mention of Ohu being strong, “You’re right about that, Ohu is strong. We’ve fended off countless enemies even when things looked most grim,” Well... ‘we’ perhaps wasn’t the right term, what had she ever done to help? The thought made her tense, annoyed at her lack of inclusion in the army. “Your history though, is there anything we should know about? I don’t care for newcomers to bring trouble along with them,”
