A white, scarred saluki curiously walked through the area, his mouth agape as he took in his new surroundings. Never before had he been to this place, it was futago pass, no? Apparently some dogs from the so called Ohu Army could be found around here, but that wasn’t why Jun travelled to the area, no he was simply doing some sight seeing. His human had left his cage unlocked, and while he was out for the day Jun took it as an opportunity to get out and explore, he would go back home before his owner returned. 

Truth be told he wasn’t sure if he wanted to go back home, but he feared his owner’s wrath if he didn’t. Surely he would look for him, and he wasn’t exactly a subtle dog. With cropped ears, a blind eye, and noticeable scars it wouldn’t be hard to be recognized. These were all ‘prizes’ from dog fighting and his owner’s way of training, a life Jun did not wish for. But then, he was rather used to it by now, at 17 years of age.

Bella rolled her eyes playfully, of course her brother would hate such a word! Responsibilities didn’t alwyas have to be boring, he just made them that way by thinking like that! Hunting could be lots of fun! She watched him leap off the rock, smirking happily as he mentioned they go off and find a bear and bring it back. Oh how she was about to agree with him with a blaze of determined spirit, just like when they were pups! But as Bella saw Orion’s smile waver, hers did as well, remembering that... yeah, perhaps this wasn’t the best conversation to be having. Bears were no laughing matter anymore, for sure her brother took down Monsoon... but not without casualties first...

Bella stared at her paws with a frown, letting the silence between the two sink in, before she finally spoke up again. “I-It’s Okay... Perhaps we could do something else? Some of the Ohu veterans or mother and father might like some fish or something! We could even turn it into a competition of who can catch more, though I already know I’d win that one!” Bella winked at her brother playfully, giving a confident chuckle as a means of provoking him. They could both do with having a little fun instead of sitting around and stewing in negative thoughts!

The akita mix’s eye’s widened, and she looked at the ground and her paw pads in a panic. “Ewww!!” Bella barked, though she didn’t see the poop the Orion claimed to have she made sure to be careful, hoping up onto the rock that Orion was sitting on, nearly smushing her brother in the process. “Move your big butt over!” She woofed, sitting down whether the older sibling moved out of the way or not.

“It’s pretty nice up here! Hope the cliff doesn’t crack and we both fall to our doom!” The akita thought aloud. It wasn’t a real fear, as she assumed the rock and ground looking over the cliff was more than sturdy enough the hold them, but she was trying to get a chuckle out of Orion. “How have you been doing? I’m surprised you aren’t hanging out with the other guys, unless you were just waiting to spend some time with your kind-hearted sister!” she told him, hoping he was okay. Though she wouldn’t outright bring it up (yet) she always worried about how Sirius’ death affected Orion. She worried about her whole family, more than she would worry about herself thatvwas for sure. 

“I suspected as much...” Koshiro whispered to himself. He should have just figured from the start that he and the bear wouldn’t have been able to understand one another. He could hear the bear grumbling and growling but aside from that it was total nonsense to Koshiro, and he assumed that the white bear heard the same thing from him. 

He watched the bears movements carefully, and it didn’t pass him by that the bear put his late paw into the water and flung a big rock towarads him. Koshiro was sure he was dog food, watching as the rock hurtled towards him. He dodged to the side swiftly, only to see that the rock would not have hit him anyway... 

“...?” Koshiro stared at the rock, and then back to the bear. He figured he really was just agitating the guy now, and Koshiro guesses that maybe he should take his leave before he really made the bear claw him one. Koshiro gave the bear one last look, still finding it pretty cool that there was such a thing as a bear that didn’t rip a dog to pieces the second it saw one! With a soundless nod to the bear Koshiro finally turned away for good, going back into the woods. Maybe he would check up on the bear again later before he and his dogs took to traveling again, but for now he was smart enough to provoke the innocent bear. It was a good thing he was leaving too, he could hear his own stomach growl and he knew it was time to really find a meal! He left the bear to his own thing, knowing he would totally tell his buddies about him! 

The male tensed as the bear got out of the lake, feeling intimidated by his large size. He supposed his woof didn’t do the trick, and now a small growl was sounding in his throat. It was hushed, but it was supposed to send a signal to the bear. Koshiro decided that perhaps it was time he got out of there, and he started to back away slowly... slowly... growing a little faster and faster... until he felt his behind smack into a tree, causing Koshiro to yelp in alarm. He bounced away from the tree and looked behind himself in a panic, finally taking his attention away from the beastly bear. 

He quickly looked back at the bear, silently cursing his own stupid clumsiness. 

Bella smiled at the leader, content with his answer that he had given. “Thank you, father!” She barked happily, feeling better now that he claimed e would be safer. She knew that as a leader Weed could not avoid all dangers, but she was glad that he would at least be more careful with what he threw himself into. 

Still smiling all the while Bella nodded and picked up her flowers, “We shouldn’t be gone too long! Take care, dad!” Bella trotted passed her father, though stopping and turning back to look at Shou, waiting for the male to walk alongside him. She remembered that this trip was to visit her brother’s grave and Shou’s father’s, and she felt a wave of sadness come over her. She didn’t drop her smile though as she was sure Sirius wouldn’t want her to cry.
