Personality: Like most Kai Kens, Shigure is a brave and confident fighter, ready to give his life to protect those he cares about. He cares very deeply for his family, and can be overprotective, not wanting to lose them as he lost his brother, father, and uncle. He is deeply loyal to Ohu, but doesn't quite agree to the ideas of mercy Weed has set up. He can be vengeful, and may try to kill if he gets too angry or if he feels he needs to. 

History: Shigure was raised alongside his brothers and cousins by his uncle, Kurotora. His parents both died while he was young, but Shigure would hear great stories of his father, Chuutora's, bravery, as well as their uncle Akatora's. Shigure and his brothers trained during the years of piece, but didn't officially join Ohu until the war against Hougen. Only Kurotora and his nephews were there to protect Gajou from Genba and his army, and after knocking Kurotora to safety, the four brothers fight the army. It was actually an attempt to escape and find help, however, and Shigure was the only one to survive. He managed to get his revenge on Genba, however, nearly killing him and forcing him to be put down by Hougen. He now lives in Ohu with his his uncle, mate, and puppies.
